i have medical training so i know i have acdl. can anybody tell me what the pain is going to be like please? i already have the weight loss...hey that bits great!! lol but have every bad symptom. my leg, hand, speach and memory are shot. could just do with a bit of advice from somebody who knows where im coming from. been drinking on and off for 10yrs. reducing at the moment, but its from a litre and half a day. gone down by a third in the last couple of weeks, so getting there.just want to hear from somebody that has experience personaly. x

I didn't want this post to go unanswered.  Although I don't have any experience of giving up alcohol so can't give you a good answer about that.

Just wanted to say well done for cutting down, are you doing it with medical advice?
