Little steps 👣

Hooray!!!!!!!! 🙌. I have just got back from a visit to see my brother (the only one of my family who has got time to try and understand this condition, disease)

Wanted to share with you that I have finally seen a life beyond the front door! 🚗 An hour's round trip and I managed to travel quite comfortably and comfortably felt OK in the company of others, if that makes sense? 🌼

Felt more 'human like' with wearing my jeans and shoes 👖 👠!! Although they're too big. Even my toes have gone thin! 😆 . My unqualified sister in law trimmed my hair and i feel great! ✂

It was great for my husband too, to get out with me 💑 rather than him going alone.

It is the little things that count 😘

Well done Mellow. Yes there is life with cirrhosis, you are just travelling a new road. Hopefully as the weather improves you will find many places to go , where you and your husband can just enjoy peace and tranquility too.

Hi Mellow, what a lovely message and it is so nice to hear of your achievement. Have been in your shoes a few years ago and the first time going out was so strange and a bit scary but I felt confident with the person I was with and was so proud that I had gone out of the front door. I hope you manage to carry on taking these steps and as the spring is coming you will be able to enjoy it instead of watching from behind closed door. Very best wishes, julie x
