I have been prescribed Ursodeoxycholic Acid because my left is slightly high and I have itchy skin. I have other symptoms like bloating, pain in joints and get easily tied. Does this mean I have PBC I haven't been told by my consultant specialist. I am due for another blood test today.

Urso is a bile duct acid and could be for PBC or could be for gallstones. I think it works by converting into bile in people where either the stones or bile duct problems mean their bilirubin levels are out of normal range making them itch.
