Try one of these:

1)Support and advice from GP which should include advice, self-help materials and referral for more intensive support

2)individual behavioural counselling

3)group behaviour therapy

4)pharmacotherapies (for example, nicotine replacement therapy (NRT),varenicline or bupropion)

5) telephone counselling and quitlines

Good luck

I also had trouble giving up smoking. I gave up for a year on champix but stupidly started again. I then tried Tabex which worked really well. But they are hard to get hold of over here. I have been smoke free for about 4 years now.

Have you asked at your gps if they have a smoking clinic. They can then help you decide which method would be best for you.

Good luck. It really is worth it in the end.
