Hi, my GP has prescribed pancrelipasi creon. I told him that after nearly two years I am still getting pain in the liver/gallbladder area after having my gallbladder removed. I do not have any digestive problems. So why should I take this?? Does anyone have experience with this??
pancrelipasi creon.: Hi, my GP has... - British Liver Trust
pancrelipasi creon.
Did you get the impression the GP is prescribing it for the pain or for something else. My gastro doc told me that even after having your gallbladder out many people still experience pain.
Hi Bolly,Thanks for replying. Well I told him I was still getting pain and he seemed to think it's because of the lack of bile causing digestive problems. But I'm not having any problems with digestion, or toilet issues. The pain comes and goes of it's accord. I usually do as I'm told with meds. but I'm a vegetarian and this is pork based. Not only that I don't like the look of it or side effects.
Have you looked at the symptoms of things like diverticulitis and might they apply? Unfortunately if you look at support forums for people with gallbladder problems, many report ongoing pain even after surgery. i 'm not saying anyone should put up with pain, but it may be that it's not a new diagnosis, just an ongoing one. Sorry not to be more helpful
