I caught some kind of minor cold bug so have barely moved from the sofa for a few days. This morning though the sunshine was irresistible. Enough vegetating, I'm going for a run.
We have some wonderful paths across farmland but with all the recent rain I've been avoiding them. Decided to have a look. It must be months since I've been here. Very pleasant surprise, not too bad at all, definitely less splashy than the park where I've been running.
I set out to do just 15 minutes in case it was all too much but quite the opposite. Carried on and did 3km in around 27 minutes and felt pretty good at the end of it.
Managed a pretty steady pace for most of the run, stopping for a few little walks to avoid mud or get my heartrate down to a reasonable level. The graph on the NRC app almost looks like an interval run.
Pretty pleased with this
