What a perfect morning! Overcast, grey, no wind, 16C, perfect day to put on shorts and vest and have a run.We set out thinking 3k. By the time we finished our warm up it had increased to 5k. It was just effortless. My pace was faster than flat out in the heat yet really easy.
We reached the point where we turn homewards for a 5k. Let's carry on. So we did, I stopped at 6.3, Mr Y ran a little further, all the way home.
Funny how running changes one's definition of 'lovely weather'! ๐
(Oh, and Mo Farrah told me to save some miles for him at the end of the run, is he stalking me? ๐๐๐)
(Just to clarify, Mo was on the NRC app ๐๐๐๐๐)

This is such a cheerful report to read that itโs got me smiling while drinking my coffee! Itโs so nice when you feel better than expected and a short run grows into a longer one. Love it! Plus Iโd love some miles with Mo! I went out with Paula Radcliffe last week and Iโd recommend her as a run partner (via NRC too)!!
I think โwhatโs your definition of โperfect run weather?โโ could be a great question to ask. Sounds like yours was absolutely ideal this morning!
I wasn't listening to a guided run, though I keep meaning to do one of the ones with the 'greats'. Mo Farrah just popped up at the end of the run. If you set a run by distance and exceed it you sometimes get a little chat from him or Coach B.
