Took your advice #Oldfloss and looked at Nike Run Club runs. Really liked it. Did a lucky dip with guided runs and did "The worst advice ever" a light hearted "inspirational" 30 min run with a coach debunking all the running myths going. It was entertaining and you didn't even think you were being coached but you clearly were! Slightly shocked not shocked that I'm still quite a bit off 5K as I'm currently not able to run any faster pace for the 30 mins, but the philosophy of this coaching style I can see will help with that. (I've never measured my distance at all through C25K.) I know being shattered from work and still running (in wind) will have an impact on the numbers - thanks Coach Bennet π Looking forward to mixing it up with my next run from the selection but am paying heed to the advice in the app and listening to my tired body and giving it a two day recovery period π΄

Thereβs every kind of guided run imaginable on there so youβll never be stuck. His call and return stuff is funny and you find yourself shouting out answers. Or us that just me ππ
Coach B is fun isn't he? Glad you found these guided runs. Don't worry about pace, after four and a half years I still can't run 5k in 30 minutes but still love running

Another person here who's never come within a whisker of a 30 minute 5k. Doesn't mean we're not having a great run. As the good coach says 'It's about running and it's not about running'.
