Time for the annual town run in Céret, France. I have deferred to my age, size and lack of practice, and just went in for the shortest 5•5 km run.
About 300 runners at this distance, we set out at 9.40 in a quite uncomfortable 24C. My objectives were met: I finished; I wasn’t last; and I beat the mayor. Knackered!!
At the end, I put the above brave face for the onlookers, despite having legs of lead!
Happy runnings all😎
