A holiday run beside Lake Derwentwater this morning. We've been here loads of times, but it's rained so much here recently that the lakeside path and duckboarding is a little tricky, to put it mildly. I spoke to a runner yesterday whilst out on a little stroll to recce a route and she'd paddled knee deep through one section. Wow, that's commitment. Anyway, the views here are gorgeous and this morning's little run was one that lifts the spirits and gladdened the heart. I think the training plan will be abandoned this week, but I'll still get our just for the sheer enjoyment of it. Happy running everyone πββοΈ

Spectacular place to run/walk/paddle/splash! I'm envious of the location if not its splashiness!

Thatβs a beautiful place to run. Years ago Hubby and I stayed in a cottage on the edge of Lake Derwent it was so peaceful. Lovely picture too.ππ₯°
