Time once again, wherever you are, to take, maybe, a moment out, to think of, and embrace those that we love , and celebrate in our own diverse and wonderful ways, the love in our families and friendships?
Have a peaceful happy day everyone and, if for any reason, you are not able to be with or speak to, your Mum, Dad, grandparent or carer, why not take them with you on your run and think of them, with love

I lost my mum when I was 16 and cannot remember ever celebrating Mother's Day with her as we went into care when I was 6 and only saw her sporadically. I must have celebrated it at sometime when we were a family but there's no memory. However I do think of her regularly especially on this special day when my wife and 3 daughters are celebrating their own Mothers' Day. Thank you for listening I don't think I've said that before in public 😊
I am sorry for the late reply... small runner in training day.
This is so sad.. I am glad that you knew you could share this with us here... Your own family are so precious. I know this as it shines from your posts
Your Mum is and will always be part of you... and despite the sadness... you still hold her in your thoughts.
Yesterday middle son invited us over for lunch. I'd hoped to pop into the cemetery where my parents are, but heavy traffic put paid to that so I was reduced to yelling 'Hi Mum and Dad, Happy Mother's Day' inside the car. They were never great ones for grave visits so I'm sure they won't mind.
Unfortunately, just as I'd finished my run yesterday a friend (who I'd given a lift to) called to say she's got Covid, so eldest son and wife couldn't join us as she's pregnant and we don't want to take any risks. We have to look after the mums of the future too.
Belated Happy Mothers Day to all the mums 🌸🌹🌺🌻🌼 xx
