How to clean a white Garmin watch strap?

I’ve tried scrubbing with soap and a toothbrush but it still looks grubby. I’m nervous about trying anything like bleach in case it damages the metal fastenings. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks in advance!

I've never tried to clean one , mine is black anyway .But I'd be reluctant to use anything other than soap and water.

Don't know what model you have but might be worth looking on Amazon or eBay ?

Bicarb might work without being too harsh? I think you can make a sort of paste with a little water and use it like a cream cleaner.

I’m off out for a run in the lovely winter sunshine so I will try out these cleaning suggestions when I get back!

Unfortunately the metal is an unusual colour so I struggle to get cheap replacement straps that match. And the official straps are extortionately priced.

I ordered up 3 replacement straps for my Garmin Watch from Amazon. They are really excellent and very hard wearing. I use my watch as an everyday watch and I am still only on my first replacement strap. They are actually far better than the Garmin original strap. I agree the Garmin straps are extortionate.

If you've tried everything else, perhaps try sodium percarbonate, a non-chlorine bleach, usually found in washing powders (eg. Vanish powder) on an old toothbrush with a little water.

Just reporting back that bicarbonate of soda has done a pretty good job, thanks for the suggestion!
