I've been away from this forum for ages. In March I caught the dreaded covid, then bad news followed by a family bereavement meant that my priorities have been elsewhere. I never completely stopped running, but only 1-2 km at a time. However, you can't keep us runners down forever, so I decided it was time to start again and slowly build back up. On Saturday I did my first 5k since March and thought I'd celebrate by coming back to the bridge, only to find that I'd missed the news of Tim's death. I always tried to read his posts as they were well thought out, measured and intelligent and I took a lot of inspiration from them. I will miss them.
So my run, which was just for myself, turns out to have also been a dedication to a lost runner. I only knew him from his posts, but my heart goes out to those who knew him well. He'll be missed

Good to hear from you Archerygoddes, well done on your 5K on Saturday, it was very sad news about Tim, he put so much advice to all runners on this and other forums, Tim must have spent hours researching, reading, writing and posting those long excellent posts and frequently asked questions about running, especially to all new runner's, I agree with you that Tim will be sadly missed.
