New shoes for a new beginning

Another 2.5k today following the same route as the last one which enables me to make sensible comparisons.

I also have some new running shoes that arrived yesterday.

yet another pair of Saucony, I now have 3 pairs, 2 Road and 1 Trail

The new ones are Saucony Guide 15.

It was a nice morning here and a few degrees warmer than my run on Tuesday so this one was fine in shorts .

i was out of the door around 08:30

timed to avoid the school run

the shoes felt absolutely perfect at a half size bigger than my last pair.

the run went well , and a little less tough than the last one

i had just 1 walk break of around 1 minute.

a new playlist also ,

today was Jeff Wayne's The War of The Worlds:

as I said in my previous post, I am absolutely in no rush here , this is about building run frequency up again first of all.

and so far so good 😁

That sounds like a great run Ian! I always go half a size up, works a treat. Love the new shoes, it’s always exciting getting new runners 😁. Well done!
