Great things about this morning:
- Got a run in
- I made a blackberry protein smoothie afterwards for breakfast
- Used self-picked and frozen blackberries, which was yummy 😋
- Not that he needed to but Coach Bennet told me anyway to chuck “runs suck” in his “Don’t wanna run” run
- Took a wondrous short refreshing shower
The not-so-great things from this morning:
- Headphones crackled on the run and died! Left me, running naked, alone with no music, but at least with Coach Bennett, who was now not only chatting to me but also to the trees, the dog walkers and everyone in my vicinity! 🤣🤣
- Android seems to still be cursed, as I haven’t gotten a run in with my Android (I usually run with iPhone) that was without issues
- Had to go to work after the run, although I wanted to mull over my running
Back to the great things:
- We’ve enjoyed watching the Euro Championships and are constantly awed by speed climbers, runners, multi-sport athletes, etc. I think BBC’s summary coverage of these in the evenings is great!
- My rowing is going great; I’m in week 3 of Concept2 dog days, with a target of 30k! 😳 Next week will be hard with a target of 40k!!! 😳😳😳😱 (see pic)
- I signed up as an individual for this running challenge (as a rower) zldr.club which will be a blast. I think both my outside running and inside rowing will count! But as it’s the first time with the lovely ZLDR community, I’m testing how my rowing fits in by not joining a team but just running/rowing as an individual. But the team missions sound awesome, so for anyone on Zwift and running on a treadmill, there’s still time to join us!
