Like a kid at Christmas

Out for a run the other day and started feeling a slight jolt through my ASICS gel-kayano’s. Looked at the Garmin tracking, and sure enough they’re up to 700km.

Straight onto the web to buy another set, however these caught my eye (ok ASICS didn’t have my size in the sale).

ON and these are the cloudflyer. Vaguely heard of them, but after reading reviews a pair jumped into my virtual basket (like they do).

Now I’m impatient, tomorrow is a rest day and I desperately want to try them out, saturday is my long run, about 20km, not sure I should use them for that, however I’m sure impatience will win out. Intend a gradual change from the ASICS, which I’m confident I’ll get another 100 or so km from before being relegated to general dossing around trainers.

I’ve got the Cloudsurfers but find them a bit firm so don’t take them out on longer runs I don’t take them through mud at all 🥰.
