50th Parkrun at last

I was so disappointed when the pandemic stopped Parkrun. It is such a wonderful start to the weekend with such a sense of community and it was even more frustrating as that weekend would have been my 50th run. But I finally got to do it today. I’m so happy. It was so good to see old friends and even though it wasn’t a spectacular run it was ok. Plus hubby came along to cheer me on for the first time which made it even more special and now he knows what it’s all about. 😊

Oh wow!!! 50th!!!

I’ll be celebrating my …. first, I hope soon. (After having said some weeks ago that maybe I’ll never run one… still humming and hawing if it’s for me, but it’s so great to read all the Parkrun posts! )

Thank you everyone. It made me realise how lovely it is to run with others. Even though I’ve enjoyed virtual races and running on my own somehow running with others is so motivating. 😊🏃🏻‍♀️
