I have 2 weeks left on Juju's magic plan to get me up to 10k. I had a really good 9k run yesterday, the only difficulty seemed to be the no air con in the gym. When I'm running, I 'assess' myself - how do my feet feel? Legs? Shoulders? (They sometimes ache) Breathing? Head? (Mentally). I could tick all of those as 'good' yesterday, it was just hot!
I've started to think about 'what's next?' as I'd really like to keep up the running this time round. Over the years, I've reached my target, then stopped and ended up back at square one.
So, I've booked a 10k race for life!!π¬ which will take place in October. I'm thinking its close enough for me to not give up & also far away enough for me to consolidate my 10k runs and to also get lots of outdoor runs in!ππ»ββοΈ
