So if I hadnβt taken that one photo of my beautiful sunny morning 5k run I would have had a 5k personal best! But it was worth it. But those 7 seconds left me 2nd fastest only on Runkeeper! π€π
But what an enjoyable run with Music and Zombies Galore, the latter told me it was a best 5k, and a best mile, and a best 1k. (Also saved someone from the philosophical moral tram conundrum, of having to chose between saving the one person on the left vs everyone on the right. Needless to say, superhero-runner-5-me saved both!!!! π¦ΈββοΈ)
Music gave me a 100% bouncy run all the way!
It felt phenomenal!
I am still ultra slow (I have yet to see a time on here that is slower), but in my little running world, I rock!
Happy running everyone!

...so itβs called β PB with photoβ πIt sounds such a lovely run CBDB, and your enjoyment shines through- which, in my opinion, is the most important thing. π
Thatβs a beautiful photo CBDB and a PB is just out there waiting for you on another day! As for times - check out some of mine, which I feel pretty confident will be much slower !
No chance, @oldgirlruns! Having looked, I am still beating you in being slower! π€£π€£π€£ Iβll need to start calling myself the Queen of Slow, which actually sounds great. Happy to wear it until someone else takes my crown. But no, you still have to work on your inner snail to get close to me. πππ (12.05min/km)
Right, the gauntlet is thrown ! The only thing I thought I was good at in this running lark was being the slowest kid on the block! And now I find Iβm not even best at that π’π! Drat!
ππ channel that inner snail, and have the most delicious slow runs possible.
Happy to pass the crown on to others for a while, but happy to take it then back again. I do love my slow runs ... not that I have the choice at the moment, but it took me a while to feel comfortable with it.
Ha ha ππ I seem to have thrown down that gauntlet of slow, with runners vying for that golden-snail-pace place.
But sorry, no. As far as I can see, I still retain the Crown of Slow. My pace currently is around 12min/km. So I am actually working on a 5k below 60 min and am just about there.
(I still sometimes panic about stopping at some point, but after more than a year of running I think itβs an embedded habit)
I love this thread! It is brilliant to read about everyone competing to be the slowest, what a refreshing change!! Your run looks lovely CBDB, well done π
ππππ½ππΌββοΈπ yes, weβll rename it βchannel your inner snailβ π€£π€£ Thank you. A perfect way to spend a bank holiday Sunday! Just did my yoga as well, and itβs also an ultra-slow delicious workout! πͺπ¦₯
