Managed to complete 10k and 60minutes today after messing up last week when doing a 10k but stopping at 58.37 minutes. I have to admit that I was a runner in my past and ran 6,10 and15 mile weekly runs when training for the marathon when I was 26. Unfortunately that was 42 years ago and although I played football till my early 40s I have not done much since. A heart scare has made me try to get fit so I started c25k. Since I've started again I can see that the benefits you get from running are always with you. I am running the same routes as I did and nothing has changed except the body is a bit older but mentally it doesn't feel any different. Now that I've graduated I'll carry on and see where I end up.
