So off I went this morning and managed to do 10.09km. I ran through six fields, numerous farm tracks and lanes. The sun was beautiful .However the wind was a wee bit cold so kept jacket on.
Saw a couple more runners this morning too.
Anyway even though I had saved my run on my garmin watch it didn’t sync to my ipad and I didn’t have the usual picture of my run, or even the map of my route and none of my splits or elevations recorded either.
So I just had to manually load it up. I was disappointed as I had ran through a few more fields aswell as my normal running route and I was excited to see what pattern I had made🤣.
Nice run for you today Now63, it's always a bit annoying when tech fails and you don't have splits or photo of the map doesn't appear, you describe your run very good so I can imagine you running through the fields, once again well done.
I know! There was me so excited to see my results ☹️. Never mind though at least I had the weather, the views and I did it so really that’s all I could ask for😀😀👍
Hi Now63. My Garmin played up last week one day - it took an age to latch on to GPS and afterwards I needed four attempts to record the route on my iPhone. Eventually it graciously did the biz.
Hopefully, when you next use it, it’ll sync previous data. 👍
Thanks HeavyFoot ! Maybe it will 😀. Hubby went into the garden with my garmin and walked around for a couple of mins to see what the problem was and would you believe it it worked so I don’t know what went wrong earlier 🤔🤔🤣
It’s just happened again! 5 attempts to sync before it downloaded. Very frustrating as I got a PB on a 10 mile hill run. But it’s there now so all’s right with the world even if it’s added a year to my fitness age 🧎
It’s strange isn’t it? I reckon it’s the GG’s! No not the horses .......the garmin gremlins!🤣🤣. I’m pleased yours worked in the end. However it is annoying at the time!👍😀
Sometimes Garmin will have an outage, and the info follows later , but perhaps not now that you have manually changed it. But it picked up the distance, so that’s the main thing. If it’s on the records you definitely did it. A good 10k run Now63
Hi Curlygurly2. No it hasn’t so I’ll put that down to experience. Going out on Wednesday and doing the same route so hopefully it will record this time🤞🤞😀😀
