Jogger or runner..

Some days I'm a walker, some days I'm a jogger, some days I'm a runner, But the main thing is I'm moving and feeling alive. Labels don't matter! What matters is just getting out there!

When I ran in my 20’s jogging hadn’t been invented so as kong as we weren’t walking we were running You are right, labels really don’t matter it’s just great that we can do it

Sometimes I do 5K and end up running, jogging and walking my way around. My PB is 25:36 for 5K, and I have a good friend who is an amazing runner and can do 5K in around 16-17 minutes, so my flat out PB is just a gentle jog to him. So like you I’ve learnt that labels don’t matter. It’s getting out away from the couch that really matters.

I’m definitely a jogger davelinks - and sometimes I’m barely that! But I don’t do labels and as you say, they don’t matter as long as I’m out there doing something! Happy walk/jog/running folks!

We’re all runners. We can run slowly or we can sprint. J@g is banned 🤣

There are loads of different interpretations out there, none of which (rightly) claim to be definitive. I just do what I do and really don’t mind what label people put on it...except maybe “walking” would hurt 🙂

Well said! I consider running to be a pace rather than a speed so despite my slow pace I run - both feet off the ground at the same time makes you a runner too 😊

Absolutely! I wondered at what stage do we call ourselves runners as opposed to joggers, I never know, but like you, Im happy to just get out and enjoy it! 😀🏃‍♀️

I was looking at the same definitions just a while ago! Difficult to determine the fine line between the two. Apparently, jogging is healthier than running in the long run.
