I set out faster than usual and much to my surprise it felt good, so to further surprise, I sped up, managing to sustain a pace of 5.29 per km and finishing the 5K at 27.25, over a minute shaved from my previous PB! Not quite sure what happened, other than I had tea and biscuits before leaving. I feel really pleased because while Iβm not sure that I can repeat it, and while it was slightly nauseating by the end, itβs reminded me that pushing myself isnβt too dire...does this mean I could go faster?! Perhaps shouldnβt push my luck!
