Lovely sunny, and quite mild down here, you can keep that snow and ice, up north! π€£ no trying out my new leggings/tights today, and wished i'd left gloves at home too! π₯΅
Ran about 4k, with my daughter, then we split, she had to get home to film, for her you tube channel π€£ i went onto the canal, which was pretty quiet, considering the π anyway, this 7k route feels very comfortable now, probably could have kept going, but will save that for my next run.
How lovely to run with your daughter! My older son came to stay with me a few months ago and we did a 10K together. That was so special! (Even though he had to slow down considerably for me π)
Hope you get to wear your new tights on your next run π
Sounds like an enjoyable run- no snow here either in my part of the North-just rain. I get so hot when I run too- I start with a jacket but it comes off within 5 mins so just run in short sleeved t shirt and leggings
It's funny, went past another runner last week, male, in an all in one thing, covering his head too, looked like a wet suit! π₯΅Hope your feeling ok, bet you'll be itching to get out?
Well done Peter44 ...weβve got plenty of frost and ice up here...what do you mean you donβt want us to share it with you??!! π€£ My inner thermostat is all over the place at the moment so, despite the temperature being 2 degrees this morning, I was still in my shorts and up on the tops so it was freeeeeezing!!!
Well done on your 7k and running with your daughter sounds fab
That's good to hear, i warm up so quickly, happy in my shorts, even when it's been colder, but have bought a pair of leggings, for when it gets to -10 π₯Άπ€£
Another great 7k off the total ππ» I'm can't decide what to run tomorrow, think il see what the weather's like in the morning before I decide. Can't see it being another long run so maybe an attempt at a fast 5k or just a really steady 6 or 7k π€
