I was up early (for me!!) and out for my run this morning having worked out that today is the shortest day ie of daylight. I decided to stick to my 4K route and off I went. Not too cold and no wind so a pleasant morning for a run. I ran with π s and tortoises π’ or so I thought but when I got back and looked at Strava it was my fastest run since I fell in October which was a great surprise. Hopefully this improvement can be maintainedπ€ Happy Christmas running everyone not sure if Iβll get another run in before Christmas. Enjoy your Christmas break however you end up celebrating stay safe relax and enjoy the freedom you have. ππππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ

What a great post, very uplifting. You always inspire me and today youβve done it again so I thank you for that. I think itβs because weβre the same age that I always want to read your posts. I had an operation 3 weeks ago so havenβt run since. However, Iβm now fit enough but find myself procrastinating. Now Iβve read your post I know that I can get off my sofa and get running- albeit at a snails pace. Thanks Scruff55, have a great Christmas ππ
Well this is great news Scruff55. You're obviously getting stronger πͺ. Merry Christmas π πββοΈπ πββοΈ
Happy Christmas to you too, past the solstice so on the way to summer, even if it is 1 minute at a time. Happy running π€
Isn't it funny how sometimes, when you least expect it, it all comes together and you surprise yourself. I think its to do with being relaxed π
Yes I wasnβt really bothered about how fast I was running just doing a run. A nice Christmas surprise ππππ§βππ§βππ§βπhappy Christmas running πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπ§βππ§βππ§βππ§βπ
