Today I ran 4KM. I decided to wear my new sparkly running leggings!!
The run was good, although lots of people in the park, (note to self, I really must get myself out running earlier). My time was 22:59 which I was happy with. I have noticed that I do tend to feel tired on my last run of the week, so good to run the shorter distance at the end of the week.
Omg what a nightmare I had with my new sparkly leggings they kept sliding down the whole run, it was so annoying, and disappointing were expensive. When I tried them on they felt great, really comfortable but unfortunately when I started running (they are actually running leggings!) they just kept sliding down, I could not run in them again, which is such a shame as so pretty. I am really hoping they will let me return them for a smaller size, as I bought my normal size. Anyway on a positive note, very much looking forward to my 8km run on Tuesday, minus the sparkly leggings!! I plan to run a different route. Watch out week five, I am coming to get you!!!
Have a great next run ππ»ββοΈπͺπ»

Oh, I hope you manage to change your sparkly leggings for a pair that will stay up,, they sound so lovely!
Youβre gradually getting through the runs in the Magic Plan! Well done for the last run of Week 4. It makes sense for you to do the shorter run at the end of the week if thatβs when you are tired.
Onward to Week 5. Youβre doing so well with this! πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈππππ
W5 here we come..... I'm starting W5 aswell, so I'll be alongside you, although I know if we were really running side by side, you'd be way ahead of me - your times are awesome!!
Shame about your sparkly leggings - you should have posted a pic - you may get a buyer!
Yaay!! Good luck for week five, look forward to hearing how is goes.
Lol I am actually going to slow down as I want to be able to get to 10km.
Will see what SB say hopefully they will take them back as being faulty as when you put phone in pocket makes them slip down such a shame as so comfortable, apart from when you run in them.
Glad you still managed to complete your run! The leggings issue... you do have to test them in action to know if they have staying power, that's why I stick to the same brand. I had the same problem as you once, and because they were worn ( once, for 2km!) no exchange or refund given. In fact I posted about them here and sent them to the first person who wanted them, in exchange for a donation to a breast cancer charity.
I normally find this brand so good, it is really strange will see what they say. Ah that is such a lovely, thing to do. ππ»ββοΈπͺπ»π»π»
I always get a size smaller when it comes to sparkly leggings π.
Cracking time even with a clothing malfunction, well done Rebecca ππ»ππ» Iβm out for an 8k on Tuesday too.....have a good one ππββοΈ
