I was going to go yesterday but my daughter phoned from Singapore just as I was psyching myself up so I chatted to my lovely grandchildren instead who I am missing so much.
But today was another matter. The wind had dropped and the sun was just rising so I had no excuse. I'll admit I was worried I wouldn't manage it without significant walking but somehow I got into my stride and kept going. Even through the muddy bits, even through the soggy long grassy bits, even along the footpaths that are uneven and only wide enough for one foot.
Thank you folks for believing I could manage it. I admit I was quite anxious but, Ju Ju, your magic plans work even for a oldie like me with all my medical issues.

Brilliant Lifluf!! Sounds like you had a fab run and 10k non-stop! Wow. Enjoy the rest of your day - basking in pale November sunlight enhanced by the glow of your achievement!! 🏅🥇🏆
I'm so glad I managed it dijep. Its been a struggle at times and I don't think I'm a long distance sort of runner these days but, actually, the 10k wasn't as uncomfortable as I thought it was going to be. Who'd have thought ....
Fantastic Lifluf ⭐⭐! Congratulations on your 10k. Enjoy your shiny new badge 🎖️🎖️
Thanks GTFC. I've worked hard to get there. It definitely hasn't been easy for me but I'm so glad I did persevere and it was definitely the people here who helped me do it!
