Week three completed!! Ohhhhh I did not enjoy my run today π’π’. I did not sleep well last night woke up at 03:30 for about an hour and was up at 7am. I felt really tired , I had a busy shift yesterday and was so exhausted. I had a Zoom call at 9am so decided to walk round the park whilst on call, which turned out to be 40 minutes so bad idea! I felt frozen, βοΈβοΈβοΈeven with long sleeved running top and jacket. Then I could not get the GPS to connect on my Fitbit. I just needed to run 3.5k today so after several unsuccessful tries I decided I was not going to let this beat me as I am a Warriorπͺπͺ!!! So I decided to run a slow run around the park and estimate the 3.5k, (I am working tomorrow and Monday) as I reeeeeaaaallllyyy wanted to complete week 3. The GPS must have connected at some point during my run but it did not map the run so not completely sure when it did, it recorded 4K at 31:29 minutes. Even though it was not an enjoyable run ππ»ββοΈ I am glad that I did it and I feel so motivated to start week four next week. I feel so proud of my achievement this week, running 7k and my fastest 5K to date so I am focusing on the positives β€οΈ
Happy Running Everyone! ππ»ββοΈπ»πͺ

Here are some scissors βοΈ so you can cut yourself some slack! You had a catalogue of things to cope with today, but you are a trooper! You didnβt let any of them stop you running. You overcame them all and ran 4K, well done, you are amazing! πππππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈβοΈ
You completed Week 3 easily and with those fantastic achievements! Iβm sure your next run will go to plan! Bring on Week 4 ππ
Similar for me today. Rubbish sleep, couple of π·last night. Heart monitor wouldn't connect, nor would fitbit gps.. Stopped to sort it all out mid warm up walk, bad tempered and feeling like going home. All connected last minute and I did my fastest 5k πππ. Must be something in the air. Well done us!!
How are you finding the leaps in distance on this plan? It seems a very difficult ask to be suddenly increasing distances. The first week alone jumps from 30 to 35 mins. The final week is 20 mins 40 mins and then 60mins (I think). Seems impossible for me.
Hi Dodgylungs,I am really enjoying it (apart from one run!). The increase in distance has been fine although I must say when I first looked at it I did not think I could not manage the increase but so far so good. The consolidation run following the C25K built up my stamina. I like the structure of this plan and feel it has really increased my confidence, believe and stamina.
