Squeaky bum time!

Well I never! I'm enjoying having just started Ju Ju's Magical Plan and yesterday I set off to start WK2. I've had lots of help on here about running gear for the colder weather so suitably attired, I set off before it got too dark yesterday afternoon. I don't yet really fancy running around the lanes in the dark. I didn't get the timing right and with maybe a kilometre to go, the sun was setting. Suddenly a squeak......then another and then another. Someone I thought was behind me in a car with a squeaky wheel. I moved to the side but it didn't pass. I kept going, squeak, squeak, and 'the car' speeded up too, and at the same pace as I did. I could see home coming into view so I speeded up even more (now moving at least at senior snails pace!), I wanted to be sure I'd be safe, but I could still hear the squeaking, and then more squeaking! Got home, turned around to see who it was and nobody was there. I decided to get in quickly so I walked up the drive.....squeak, squeak.....it was my right running shoe all along!! Quite why it developed a squeak I shall never know, but anyway, I ran farthest in the allotted time than I have ever before. Ju Ju has some 'Magical' ways of getting us to run quicker!!

I haven't seen your posts before, but fun to read your story! I was on JuJu's Magic Plan too. Got to W4 then had to stop for a few weeks due to a hip injury. Started back gently this week, but back to W2. Gently does it, but I'll virtually run alongside you (without squeaky shoes!
