Adapted the magic plan to lead me to 50 miles in thirty days.

I've adapted the magic plan so that I can run for charity over the next 30 days. I hope to get to 10K by the end of it and run a total of 50 miles. I've also penciled in a time trial 5K for my last run.

Feeling confident, but I'm only on run 2 of week one!

Will do. Great name tag by the way. I wish I had thought of that one.

Thank you! I only went for it because I couldn't think of anything related to running and I was only planning on reading other people's posts rather than participating. Best laid plans... 😂😂

I had the heal pain problem a few years ago. Mine cleared up after rest and then buying some cheap squashy heal supports to go in the bottom of my shoes. I use them in my shoes and trainers. I haven't had a problem since using them.

Fab, I've ordered some insoles so I hope they'll also do the trick for me 🤞

A good heal on your shoe or trainer helps too.

80km in a month is certainly doable.

Assuming you run every other day that's an average of 5⅓ km per day.

Yes I am comfortable with 5 k three times a week, I aim to do intervals on one day and a long run on the third.

Good luck. As your name tag suggests - take it steadily and you'll achieve your goal. Enjoy the challenge 😊
