Well last week I couldn't decide whether to repeat my 8k run as I didn't find it easy. Thank you to all who gave me comments and advice.
Got up this morning and surprisingly the sun was shining so I interpreted it as a sign that I should go for it.
My trail shoes were still damp from my last run even though they'd been on the radiator for 2 days but at least they were warm.
It went quite well as I left the village and started on the muddy footpaths. Then th wind started blowing straight at me over the wide open fields. I felt like my legs were working without being able to make progress.
But after a couple of kilometres I was able to turn sideways to it's force and then back on to roads through another village before the last muddy bit.
But....I did 9k! My splits were slow in the mud and wind but they were quite respectable (by my standards) on the easier stretches. So I'm feeling a bit more confident than last week and a lot more cheerful ππ

Fantastic, that's amazing, 9k! π€ΈββοΈπ₯³π Your 10k is just around the corner, it really is not that much more than doing 9k. Very well done, enjoy the rest of your weekend! π π₯πββοΈ
Fantastic run, well done, doesnβt matter how slow it was you have run 9k πππ
Goodness Lifluf you had it much tougher than me out there today. Well done ππyou had great grit and determination and ran a solid 9k. You can so easily reach your 10k now, if I can you can for sure. Take a few slow easy runs now and then go for it. Good luck π€ππ€
