Morning all, Autumns coming and it’s probably time to retire my trusty shorts.....they saw me through C25k and then through the summer. Not exactly hi-etc but had somewhere to keep a hanky. So I tried my gym leggings today and spent the whole run pulling them up.
Sadly not coz I’ve lost weight (quite the opposite) but they’ve lost their ooomph.
Any recommendations for running tights! Preferably with some happy pattern . Or black! !

I like LucyLocketLoves, Sturdy By Design, Tikiboo and Belles & Co. Active Wear. They can be a bit pricey but great designs, some really colourful ones and they all seem to pass the 'squat test'!! 😂
I'm sure you'll get loads of suggestions as there are plenty of good, tried and tested companies out there. Warning though, you can end up spending a small fortune as there is so much to choose from 😬😄
Thank you! Lucy Lockets seems a popular choice although I’ll check out the others too, particularly if they come up a little higher and hold my tummy in a tad. Looking at the prices they are certainly cheaper then riding breeches!
Hi- just thought I'd chip in as the owner of a belly which prefers a high waistband- I've bought some Ron Hill black leggings/tights? with a grey pattern on the lower legs from Go Outdoors. They're comfy and I don't feel conspicuous in them 🤣 there's a little zipped pocket for a key/tissue. Your shorts look like they've done their duty 😁
Aah I’d forgotten about Ron Hills! Thanks! Maybe a pair in black for those “not feeling it” days. I get discount at go outdoors too as I work for the fire service. Hmmm....
It’s a sad day when shorts have to go away for the winter.
With lockdown I’ve worked nearly every day in shorts and trainers (no not these scruffy ones!). Be a sad day when I have to wear tights and all that jazz again
