Wow! Still out of breath...<pant pant> 160 is definitely more than 150 😅
So when the podcast began, I thought, yup, this is ok... I’ve run to the beat before. And the pace is ever so slightly higher than of the beats I’ve run to, so I lose a step somewhere, but constantly trying to up my beat.
The uneven field path didn’t help, nor the nettle-slalom run. So next time I’ll take my trusty former rail line.
The effort was never excessive, but by the end of it I could feel I couldn’t last much longer. And with my (excellent) slow jogging technique, I normally never feel that way and rather usually feel I could run longer. So this was a new experience.
But my stats were a bit ambiguous. Not that much faster. And I can see I was trying.
I have two more repeats on this one to see if I can get into 160 bpm mode.
And the music? 🎶 yeah, let’s not get into that.

Good for you ⭐️ . There are many great things said about these podcasts that I think I really must get round to giving them a try, but I just have to get passed that music first 🥴......
Yeah! I think the idea that audiofuel has had was great, but that style is just not my thing. Imagine having a Reggae track... or a Celtic-Jazz mash-up, or a Latin beat ...
Ha Ha, Oh my gosh, that music is awful. Congratulations for doing it. I just could not get past the first one. I could do the run, just not the music. Life is too short. But do stick at it, running faster, interval training, stepping stones podcasts, killer K's, they all train your mind and body to run faster. It's the mind that needs the most work. It is getting past the gremlins and the mind screaming at you to take a break. But once you do you'll be on a PB streak.
Completely agree with the mind-gremlins! Pesky little beggars 😈🔨. I definitely need to give them a talking to at times 🤬 (usually on an up-hill stretch)!
😂😂🎧yes, but the voice of Laura makes up for everything else 😍 and I only got to know her thru Str and Flex as I started C25k with Sarah Millican (until she gave an interview in which she suggested she did not run), and switched to Jo Wiley. But she is so calm!
That was a reasonable run for you today CBDB, well done, the "🎶 music" is only for your steps, cadence to keep up the pace that you are running, not to everyone's taste, so try and keep the volume low.
Thank you! Yeah, the music.... I think I came across runners world composing that perfect running song using ‘science’ and I didn’t hold much to that song either. Music is so much more than a beat, a harmony and a melody.
