Anyone for lejog 5?

Having seen so many people signing up for the end to end Land's End to John O'Groats challenge in August, I was a little sad to miss the boat with no further spaces available. So I've just signed up for the next round, starting on 1 September, and thought it would be good to have a new healthunlocked posse hot on the heels of the previous one. Alissum I know you're already signed up, who else?

Thanks, it's a bit daunting at the moment but I want something to aim for to keep me going over the winter!

And every walk and run will count no matter how long or short, you'll be amazed how quickly it adds up.

I’m part of the RunLeJog4 group, as I had missed out on RunLeJog3! And am having loads of running - and photo collage editing - fun!! Fabulous to have another person joining the end2end run!

Glad you're having fun. Intrigued by the photo collage though!

😉 just have look on my timeline or look under events on right side topics (if accessing thru a browser).

You’ll probably spot my RunLeJog4 collage silliness 😀

Good luck on your start of running end2end! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🏃🏽‍♀️ 🏃🏻‍♂️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

All becomes clear! I have a feeling I'll need the luck to get through this but I have every intention of having fun trying!

Oooh! I'd be interested! I thought it was a one off 🙄😂

Are you all signed up?

Think I'll just take a look at the website 😊

Thanks for mentioning it.

Same! I dithered too long for LEJOG4 & it sold out, so now I'm starting 5 on Tuesday. Really looking forward to it, but also slightly apprehensive .

Do I need a watch or Strava (I don't have either) or can I enter my data from Map My Run? I've just signed up - Bib 10277.

Eeeek not even started the Magic Plan 😆

Hello and welcome bib 10277! I think as long as you're tracking your routes you can upload the evidence. The free strava would do it as well.

I've not started the magic plan either though planning to join the september posse! I think if I count my walks I'll be OK on distance - and I'm working on the basis that it doesn't matter if I'm a bit under 28k the first few weeks as my distance will hopefully build up over time.

I’ve been dithering too! I only cover an average of 15km a week so will need to up my game! But....I’ve just signed up for Sept...bib number 10329. Scary stuff but am hoping for the usual support, motivation and encouragement as ever from you wonderful peeps x

Me too - 15k is my max per week so far! 😬

Yay, another lejogger! (I think I'm 10039) It does seem a long way but I'm really hoping it will keep me going over the winter so I don't lose the momentum I've built up.

That’s exactly my thought. It’s great to have a challenge. I definitely feel more motivated with a structure or plan of some sort to follow.
