I’m on W5 of JuJus magic plan doing the timed version. Just got 30 minute run to go tomorrow morning However yesterday evening (I ran for 20 minutes in the morning having completed 50 minutes on Monday) I noticed that I had some pain in my ankle at the back of my heel and there was a small swelling. I immediately put some volterol gel on and it eased the pain. I elevated it til bedtime. Today I have had a busy day (grandchildren all day). It is painful again tonight so I have put more volterol on it and am elevating it again. My question is should I run in the morning or not. I’m so close to completing the 60 minutes challenge I just don’t want to stop But don’t want to do more damage ☹️☹️☹️

Niggles are tricky as they can go one of two ways. Erring on the side of caution you could give it another rest day and see if it improves, or you could run and see what you can comfortably manage then take it from there. If you run but it doesn’t end up as a 30 min run, don’t worry. 😊
See how it feels in the morning, you could always start and if it hurts walk slowly home, let’s hope it goes away soon with or without the trip to the doctor
I've had a few niggles recently but for each of them I haven't run again until pain free. Personally I'd prefer a few more rest days rather than doing something serious and being out for a lot longer. If you do go out tomorrow listen to your body and stop if there's any pain. Fingers crossed though that all will be ok 🤞
Managed run this morning with no ill effects so far. Am using Volterol to reduce swelling and seems to be working got a 2 day rest now so hopefully it will get better over ther weekend. 👏👏👍👍🏃♀️🏃♀️
Is it your ankle or your heal?
If ankle I dont know.
If it's your heal could be your Achilles which attaches to your heal.
Try a cold compress or ice to take away any swelling. Try a walk or a very slow jog first and also some stretching.
