Knee on the mend! Phew

Hi running people.

I saw the McTimoney chiropractor last Monday and my knee problems were coming from my hips being OUT! So I agreed to rest after my treatment before trying to run. Well that was ok until Friday when I was on granny duties to my 2 1/2 year old grand son! Arr kneeling, lifting, being on duty and no lie ins to prepare for the day. However grandson now back in his home, a good 9 hour sleep! I was exhausted, so a small run this morning. I walked, ran and trotted for 2 1/2 miles. My knee still hurts a little, but I hope Thursday attempt will be better.

The joys of doing care work, hips going Out is an occupational hazard. Having a good chiropractor really helps. I would normally go every 6 months, but with lock down I wasn’t able to go, however, got to see him and now I’m on the mend.

I was so worried about my knee, people telling me to slow down and realise how old I’m getting!

I hope next year there will be events, as I have yet to get a medal, apart from our worthy virtual ones on here.

Happy running all.
