You know the north east, and particularly Teesside, has a bad reputation. But to me, how can you beat this? Within a few miles the moors and the beach. I feel lucky to have all of this on my door step. A thoroughly enjoyable 11 mile trail this morning 😍
Keep running everyone 🏃🏽♀️👌🏽
This is Saltburn and Skinningrove by the way in case you wondered Xx

I'm a County Durham lass originally and I'm with you! Brilliant pics, they take me straight back to the glorious north east coast, when I may not be able to return 'home' for many months yet. I hope you have many wonderful runs on those sandy beaches xx
Beautiful pictures thank you for sharing them. That was a great long run this morning, lovely to have such changing scenery to do it in. Happy running 🤗
Sounds & looks a wonderful run. 😄Lovely photos Tasha - I haven’t been to Skinningrove for years. We used to walk from there to Staithes - gorgeous route.
You know the ship inn in Saltburn? Well there are steps just behind it up the cliff and it’s maybe a mile along, just before it drops down into skinningrove beach. What a gem!
I’ve never done it before 🤦🏽♀️ Apparently there is a smaller charm bracelet somewhere that I missed. I’ll update you to its whereabouts when i find out.
That looks like a lovely run for you today. I'm quite jealous as Saltburn has to be one of my favourite places. I was looking forward to an event there in May, but Covid-19 put paid to that😥 The North east definitely has the finest beaches in the country, but Beachcomber66 has a point; we don't want to advertise it too widely!
Whereabouts are you from? We need a VRB meet up one of these days! Which event? Hardmoors Saltburn opens on August 15 at 7pm if you fancy that next February. Sells it in minutes though.
Living in East Yorkshire now in a completely flat landscape😕(great for running, though!) It wasn't a running event that was cancelled (clue in my username), but Covid seems to have interfered with everything. A VRB meetup sounds good, but I'm nowhere near your standard. A nice run between Redcar and Saltburn is probably my limit, and then I'd have to walk back!
Love your pictures! You are right, it is a place that I'm fond of. I visited friends in both Teesside and Wearside a lot over the years and always retain a fondness for the place. Living close to Grimsby I get what you mean but there is beauty in abundance if you look. 11 mile trail run is also a terrific achievement 😊
Fabulous Tasha! I'm with you a Durham lass originally now living on Teesside. We regularly go to the North Gare a long expansive beach which is always very quiet. I've walked the route you said but that was before my running days. Maybe time to try again. And you're right we are so lucky the UK has some gorgeous spaces. You just need to look.
