Garmin on a tight budget

I’m looking for a new watch to replace my Fitbit Blaze but I’m on a really tight budget. I just want a basic model, no whistles and bells needed. I’ve seen a Garmin Forerunner 35 for £90 . What’s everyone’s opinion?

I've just ordered a Garmin Forerunner 35 as an upgrade to my Forerunner 25 which I've had for a couple of years. The Forerunner 25 has been brilliant so I've no doubt the 35 will be the same, I think you're pretty safe buying a Garmin.

Amazon, it was £119, I wanted a black one, prices vary depending on the different colour it seems.

Yeah I think I misread the £90 cos I can’t find it now 😂 £99 on Amazon with Prime delivery or £99 from Garmin website 3-5 day delivery. I’m drawn to the blue 😍 but whatever is cheapest tbh 😂 thanks for your advice, I’m hitting the buy now button 👍

I have a Garmin Forerunner 35. I love it. I bought mine on an Amazon Prime sale for £80. You’ll also pick them up on eBay perhaps a little cheaper.

The Forerunner 35 is A great running watch. Does everything I need from a running watch, it’s accurate, and is a nice size. I wear mine 24/7.

Just checked, there is a brand new one on eBay for £45. You’ll pick them up second hand also for between £40 to £60. My last running watch was a Garmin Forerunner 15 which I bought on eBay second hand for £20. It came in the original box and was like new. And it worked perfectly.

Congratulations, you’ll love it. They are great. I wore mine on a rune this morning in torrential rain. The roads were like a river. The Forerunner 35 had no issues getting soaked. The App on the phone Garmin Connect is great too and the watch links wirelessly via Bluetooth so as to upload your runs. Enjoy.

If you use strava you can get the Garmin software to push the runs through to that as well.

I did some research and asked for a forerunner 35. It looked like it would do everything I needed and comes with some good reviews. Enjoy! 👍

I’ve been using a 35 for 12 months... and it’s done everything that I needed it to... very reliable, great app for retrieving data, shares with Strava, Nike and others automatically. Highly recommended

I had a swanky Fitbit Ionic that died and I've replaced it with the Forerunner 35 (the blue one). I love it. It's simple and easy to use. I've been using it cycling to work too
