I am about to graduate from C25K programme - only one week to go

Wanting to go onto a B210K straight away. Quite a lot of folk recommended Sammy Murphy's programme but all links posted years ago seem to be broken and files long deleted.

Does anyone have a copy? or a download link that works?

Is Samatha B210K really the best or have any of you found something even better?

I want an audio programme since the NHS C25K with Laura served me so well!

All the best,

Peter

Once you have completed c25k you are best to consolidate running for 30 minutes for a few weeks before moving on.

I don't know of any audio plans but ju-ju magic plan is what lots of people used on here to get to 10k . I will post the link below. Good luck ๐Ÿ‘

Hi Peter. Well done on your success so far. My advice is to graduate from the C25K plan and then spend 2-3 months running 5K x 3 times per week. Donโ€™t be in any hurry to get to 10K. There is loads of time for that. The injury couch is full of newly graduated C25K runners who were gung-ho to get to 10K. Your a new runner and youโ€™ll need to spend time building up your legs first.

Once your comfortable with 5K there are loads of plans to get to 10K. I used a very simple technique of adding 500 meters per week onto one of my runs making it a long run.

Best wishes on getting to the C25K plan graduation run.

Youโ€™ll probably get bored of hearing this, but I would suggest 3 weeks of consolidation of 30 minute runs before extending to 10k.

Jujuโ€™s plan worked for me.

I did a 6 or so consolidation runs at 5k each before starting ju Ju's 10k plan. It's great. I actually loved just running a distance off a chart instead of having someone on an app telling me what to do. Happy running whatever you decide ๐Ÿค—

Thanks a lot everyone,

I just finished week 8 podcasts but I usually run for a few minutes more than needed and my 5k time is now well below 30min. A true credit to the C25K programme considering I struggled to run for 2 minutes when I started it :) will give it 2 more weeks running 5k and then move on.
