As some of you will know I had an 'incident ' on my wednesday run but all is well now. I went out today ran a route I haven't done in a few months , really enjoyed it and its sunny what's not to like. Got to just before the end of my run and down I went. Nothing there to trip me up , just fell. I got up quicker than I fell down as you do to look and see if anybody saw you and thankfully no one around.
Only got grazed hands that stung like mad when washing.
Please can the running gods give me a break🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Have a great weekend 👍

Sorry about your fall this morning on a otherwise good run, just take it easy for the rest of the weekend, I hope you recover quickly perhaps for another run sometime next week.
Oh dear, that's horrible I know how you feel . . . I remember when I have fallen in the past being most upset about the tears in my running gear, still if that's the only damage we should be grateful I guess 😊
Yes that a disaster, a hole in the knees in running tights, not something that's really possible to repair either, been there 😒
Oh dear Buddy. I hope there isn't going to be a trio of "incidents" to round this week off for you. I think the first two have been more than your fair share. Here's to an incident-free run next. 😊🏃♀️
I fell over when my foot went down a blind pothole covered by grass and sprained my ankle, while walking! I went down like a sack of spuds!😆 wondering who may have seen me go down, I felt a bit of a Charlie, but I was the only one laughing at my predicament, then the pain came on.. 😫
So, am sorry you hit the dust, hopefully the stinging is wearing off from the grazes by now and you'll be back soon for your next run.. 😉
Oh no Buddy34 ??? Whats going on?? Have a few days off and try again...obviously use your grazed hands as an excuse to take things easy...hugs to you x
I’m ok thanks. I haven’t been posting on here quite simply as I’m not running due to shielding advice. I look at the alerts from people I’m following and either like or comment, but don’t hang around as it just makes me more gutted that I can’t join my VRBs! But I’ve been sneaking out for a 30 minute walk daily for the past fortnight as there hasn’t been many people about and it gives a lift mentally. You’ve come so far in those 19 months - well done 😁. Hopefully it won’t be too long before I start C25K again, I’m looking forward to it 😊😘
Oh no! Glad you came out reasonably unscathed. I think you need to keep your eyes open for all possible trip hazards on Sunday 😉 and fingers crossed for an incident free run!!!
Ouch, poor you, I did that a few weeks ago, in front of a family of 4 who pretended they hadnt seen me 🤣 here's hoping your next run is an uneventful happy run 🤗
Liking your post seems inappropriate but the Facebook option of care isn’t available on here! Glad you weren’t too badly hurt....please can the running gods look after you better. Stingy grazed hands reminds me of being a kid and coming off my bike....hope you haven’t got knees to match xx
If it's any consolation, the only time so far I've fallen when running I didn't slip or trip either, I just went over. I'm going to blame my slightly dodgy ankles which "turn" even when i walk sometimes! I was more upset about how dirty I was and having to walk back into town covered in mud!
Ouch! I fell 2 weeks and got grazes on my hands (and knees, arm, shoulder and hip - did a thorough job!), a couple of which are still painful. At least you can still run with sore hands... Have a safe run next time 😊
I did that fall - up thing too once and jogged to behind a hedge to feel sorry for myself!! Hope it’s not out you off. I was tentative for the next few runs.
Hey Buddy it’s not your week, sorry to hear of your fall, falls are horrid aren’t they? because they just happen one second you are gaily running along and the next you are sore and wondering what happened.
Yes, i remember my sister coming back from a run with my very dad looking dog, the dog darted in front ho her and she just somersaulted over the top of the dog and i bet she yelled at her
We are great thanks, lovely run this morning and about to lower myself into a very full very hot bath
