I really rate aftershockz as they keep you fully aware of any road traffic

I may have to stump up the money for one. I bought (and returned) two cheaper brands for pairing issues and over-sensitive track skipping.

They are expensive but my usual sports shop (remember them?) put them in their January sale.

I love my aftershockz Great sound, total awareness and so comfortable that it is often hours later that I realise I am still wearing them. (I'm not on the payroll honest...but maybe I should be :) )

I love my aftershocks. Easy to use, good sound quality and you can hear the traffic.

I received aftershokx minis for Christmas. They are good for smaller heads such as ladies and youngsters. Love them. Do shop around though.

When in the gym though , I wear waterproof in ear ones to drown out the surrounding noise.

I’ve recently got some aftershokz trekz air and love them. Good sound but you can still hear other things you need to and they are really comfy and light. They don’t move at all when I run either

I went for some aftershockz after a lot of deliberation and I'm so glad I did. Fab for running and wearing them all day long to work from home taking phone calls. I forget I have them on as so comfortable.

I have some Aftershockz. I have never been comfortable running with in-ear headphones, I just don’t feel safe if I can’t hear traffic or people coming up behind me. Bone conduction solves all of that, with a little bit of trade off inaudio quality. In particular, sound quality deteriorates when I get very sweaty. I find using a headband to keep the sides tightly in place helps.

I’m a late adaptor to technology. I just wear the iPhone ear buds that came with my phone. They are comfortable and stay in place. I just run the lead up from my running belt via the inside of my top. However I’m running more and more without my phone or ear phones over the last year.

I use aftershockz on the road and some little Anker ones for the gym and off road. Both are good

Just to be contrary and add balance - I didn’t get on with Aftershokz. I got them for Christmas from my husband (at my request), and “regifted” them back to him. He wasn’t keen either! Can’t please everyone I guess, and I know we’re in the minority. He wears them out walking, but he doesn’t like running in them.

I could feel them on the whole time which got on my nerves, and I reverted to my trusty, and very comfy, wireless Soundcore Spirits. I’ve had them for over a year, and I tend to wear one ear in, one out with no problem at all. 🏃‍♀️😀

I use plantronics backbeat 3100. They are design to not fit into your ear, so you can hear what's happening around you. They are not as open as the aftershockz, so you hear a bit less, you might not hear someone walking behind you, but you can hear the traffic. For the gym I use my normal headphones that block the horrible music they keep playing...

I've got aftershockz and I love them. It is good to be able to hear road traffic and bikes etc coming up behind you when running on trails. Just have to remember to charge them up before going out on longer runs.

Aftershocks is there any other choice when road running. Bluetooth ear buds are great but unlike aftershocks they cut you off from traffic coming up behind you.
