I wanted to go one way and Willow wanted to go the other and he won
We plodded along the uneven paths dodging people and dogs with me grumbling away and him not listening
Across the bridge me running up and down the steps and him going the slopes which i said would be gentler on his knees, then it starts to get steep and even steeper, quite a few dog walkers so we took a left and across towards the poppy field, too early for poppies, Willow went down towards the tip park and i went onwards and up towards the field across the top of the poppy field and he’d walked up the road and met me near the top corner
We ran back down the hill over the bridge and back home
3.99 miles with huge grins in our faces, sweat pouring down all of us, stripped, clothes in washing machine, washed hands, large glass of cool water , bath is running
I meant to be out an hour but couldn’t quite make it and blame it on the hills and going round people mHapoy Easter everyone, run when you can and wash those hands

Oh what i forgot to put was my nicotine patch had fallen off sometime, i forgot to put a bit of gum in my pocket and i nearly always win, poor man would have just gone and sat in the garden if he had his way, I like a good grumble and i was soon happy enough
If we had gone my way we would have hit the beach in a mile and been home in two I’d have still grumbled and not felt such a sense of achievement
Grumbles or not, it looks a lovely run. Well done you two 😊
I’ve already got white runners feet lol, last year was horrible because the psoriasis drugs i took meant i burnt double quick now i can run and not come home red and blistered if i forget the sun tan lotion
I feel amazing thanks, i used to sound like an old steam train running now i puff but it’s almost silent, and if i get irritable i treat myself to a bit of gum, i do like boiled sweets but then i aalways did, lots of people say my skin looks fresher and people haven’t recognized me on th phone, oh and i can sing way higher notes
The main thing though is I can run on and on long after Willow has dropped back to a walk
A lovely long run for you both W&S, and what a lovely day to do it. Marriage is so full of little compromises 😂😂. Luckily there’s not a shortage of Easter eggs so hope you have a great one . 🐰🐣🐥🌷🌞🥚

We bought Easter eggs for the grandchildren and this morning we very kindly started eating them for them, i’m working sat and sun so as i’d forgotten the hot cross buns we started on the eggs lol mohave a great weekend Dexy
No worries, we couldn’t believe how much chocolate we ate this morning and it was lovely, as i work part from home and part at work i have to organize my files into what i will need at work tomorrow and what i can carry comfortably, I tried running it but the bag bumps my hip too hard so no good for hip or laptop, have a lovely weekend Dexy, i’ve just realized i’m off monday and tuesday lucky me 😀
Thank you, work is the most normal place at the moment, now i’m careless i’m really enjoying walking to and from work, i can wear shorts for the walking as we change when we get there
