Looking at my diary, I hadn’t run for 5 weeks apart from two short, humiliating attempts on a dreadmill.
This morning no excuses: no cold, no backache, no rotten night’s sleep. Bye bye IC.
Wondering whether to attempt W1R1 of C25K or my 30 min hilly consolidation run. With huge apprehension I decided on the latter.
Goodness, it was so hard but there was nobody on the route to witness the struggle. The 30 minute route took 33:49 but I’ve never been so pleased to run so slowly. I’m a runner again 😁😁
