Just found out my first 10k nite lite event has been postponed and will be arranged for another time. Its disappointing but understandable

So sorry about that, you were looking forward to it so much but you understand for health reasons why it was cancelled, not sure if there will be any parkruns anywhere this weekend, looking very doubtful.

I notice that you are at No.9 on the VRWC team list with 77.18Kilometers ran, unless that is incorrect because of double KM's ran, an ongoing problem which has affected a few runners.

Just had confirmation that my 7k race in April and a 10k the month after have been postponed. Not surprising at all but still disappointing. Looks like the PM's press conference will mean that Parkrun UK will now have to stop our Saturday Morning fun. I can't see how they can continue now.

Ah well back to the loneliness of the long distance runner, just me and a few dogs and squirrels.

I think it was to be expected that run events were to be postponed.

I always run on my own anyway except for parkrun. Probably safer on our own anyway 😊

Sorry about your two runs being cancelled because of the coronavirus Amblerman, I doubt if any parkruns will be run this weekend or any weekend now for a few months, anyway, if you wish you could just run a 5k on the parkrun course and count that as your? st unofficial parkrun, with your dogs of course.

If as I expect no parkrun this Saturday I will just run a 5K locally and that will add my total to the VRWP kilometres for the HealthUnlocked TeamGB.

Arrrggghhhh. Time for us all to be very patient. I would suggest a virtual equivalent but I wouldn't want to do a night run on my own! I have a similar issue in that my nightride is likely to be cancelled. I already have sponsors so will set up a virtual ride - but it won't be 100k through the night, not on my own!
