I should finish C25K for the second time next week. Probably doing about 4.5K in 30 mins looking at my time at the moment. I very much want to keep going and do the odd park run, eventually working towards longer distances; a 10k is my target.
I'd like to use an app. What does everyone recommend? I want to stay motivated with a plan!

Well done on almost completing c25k. I would suggest you do a few weeks on 5k then look at Juju’ s bridge to 10k if you want to increase your distance and running time. I find setting myself little targets helps to keep me motivated.
Nike Run Club is really good with coached runs via distance or time. It also counts down every km too. The Bridge to 10k plan is good and I've found that once you keep running regularly the distances can be extended and become manageable because you've already put the work in. You will get to 10k. Have no doubt; as long as you go steady and keep roughly to the plan then you'll get there.
Thank you for this. I had a look at the Nike Running Club app this morning. It looks like a good option. The magic plan is great. I just feel I need the added motivation of the app. 😊
I felt that. Strava I've found best for stats etc as it remembers your top 3 runs in terms of times and gives you achievements. Both break down pace and splits etc. I like Nike because it has a voice every km telling you the time or you can choose a coach to talk you through each run. Adidas running is supposed to be epic but I like Strava and Nike Run Club.
Yes I recently started using that again; I was irresponsible with it last year and did too much too soon. I think I’m being more measured this time around.
I can’t offer any advice as I’m currently consolidating after C25K as you know. I’ve still a way to go to get to 5k, but once I do that I might try the “time” version of the Magic Plan. In fact I might try it before I get to 5k and ‘feed two birds with one scone’ 😂👍😁
