Run with me is a excellent song to run to, so is my favourite which is 'Keep on Running' by The Spencer Davis Group, but dispite all that music, I did not get to parkrun today, it was blowing a gale with heavy hail, rain and snow showers at the time I would have to leave, however, it cleared up a bit later after 9 o'clock for me to run for 30 minutes, week 4, run 2 of Ju Ju's Magic 10, I ran that 30 minute run without any problems and no music
Yes, one of those squalls that happen during these showers must have blown a big branch or tree as it said on the news page onto the course, it probably fell on that part of the course which is very straight after you leave Lochend Loch when you turn left just about the 1K point
Flipping heck it sounds like a few of Willow’s !!! which i thought was closer to dance beat, i’m sending him the link and he can follow the recipe so he can make a playlist up of running songs
Gosh, the professor was fascinating, I had no idea that listening to music could have such an impact on how a run can feel. Starting to think that I am missing a trick because I never listen to music while running. While I don't particularly like the song they came up with, I can see why it would be good to run to. Maybe I will give it a go this week!
I just thought it'd be a faff, tangled wires, headphones falling out, etc. I hadn't really considered that music might make it feel easier. But I do like hearing the birdsong etc when I am running in the woods. Parkrun was good thanks, bit windy but not too wild!
Very interesting. However that music would do my head in so definately not for me. Most of mine is metal - I know not everyone's cup of tea but it definately gives me a lift when running 😁
