So sorry about what happened regarding your twisted ankle, I just hope you won't be off running for too long, but make sure it is completely better before restarting.

Argghh, that’s so annoying. But weight bearing sounds hopeful. Fingers and toes crossed you’ll be up and running soon. 🤞🤞 In the meantime, look after yourself. 😀
Ooh poor you! Glad you can move on it. Keep it up high when you not moving around. Once the pain & swelling have subsided try writing the alphabet with your big toe. Physio told me this & I have never looked back. Used to sprain them all the time but not for years now. I do this when watching TV in the evenings. Xx
If you can get someone to go to a physio for you they sell those ice packs especially for sprains. They’re really useful and mould to your ankle. I always keep two in the freezer just in case!
Oh no! I could write a book about ankle injuries 🙄 as I’ve sprained mine twice now so if you need any advice on the road to recovery let me know. You’re doing the right thing though.
Makes you feel sick when you do it doesn't it, I've had episodes with my ankles in the past.
On Easter Sunday while walking at Junior Parkrun I had just collected up some equipment when I went over on my right ankle, had put my foot in a blind pothole which was covered by grass/weeds, after being careful for years running watching out for uneven surfaces and that had to happen, although only a low grade sprain it still bloody hurt bad, and I thought I had strengthened my ankles with running on trails, probably not enough, so more strengthening me thinks.
