A very muddy 4km done at Sissinghurst Castle this morning. I love running in the cooler weather but I really hate the mud! Stopped by the lake to take a pic of all the ducks but they are just tiny specks on the water, should have zoomed in a bit! Was nice to see them though. 😂 🦆

Nice piccie all the same. My run is all on hard urban surfaces. Mud and hills are the things that put me off park run!
Great run Debston. All that mud , it must make your run tough😊
Great run in the mud. Sounds like a lovely place to run. I ran over a moorland battlefield, not so picturesque although people do come from all over the world to see it. Happy running
Ooh, sounds wild and rugged! Which battle was it?
Battle of Culloden- bonnie prince Charlie, a very I'll advised battle where half of the Scots fought on the Duke of Cumberlands English side. A very bloody affair but quite a good flat running route straight from the house which can be extended to 6 miles past various other notable battle things like the giant stone they lined the prisoners up against before shooting them nice 🥴
Nice 😂. I remember learning about Bonnie Prince Charlie at primary school as we were going on a school holiday to Scotland to a place called Mallaig. That stone would give me the shivers, I think!
BPC Fled Culloden to the west where mallaig is - speed bonnie boat, skye boat song was him trying to get away.
looks lovely, well done for braving the mud
What a lovely place to run Debston. I visited In the summer a few years ago, and loved the area and gardens.
well done
