I was starting to get rather nervous watching the slushy snow and freezing rain hitting the windows yesterday, but this morning dawned bright and sunny, if a tad chilly 🥶. I climbed into my Santa suit and headed off towards Lincoln Castle, along with a couple of thousand others, for this year’s Santa Fun Run and Walk. The Mayor turned out to sound the starting hooter and off we went - twice round the Castle, across the cobbles in Castle Square and past the Cathedral. 4.37kms in just under 27 mins. That was fun and a lovely bit of bling 😃😃

You have been missing out. It’s an app which combines lots of photos and only counts as one image. Maybe it’s only on iPhone. Not sure.

It was for the Rotary Club charities - a whole range from the air ambulance, hospice, cancer, homelessness etc.

That's a fabulous medal 😍. Let's face it, if you've got to run in full Santa suit, chilly is what you want 😂. Well done, it must be a lovely route to run.

Those Santa suits are very thin though. By the end I did have ventilation in my nether regions 😂 A very hot head though and the beard came off very early, as I couldn’t breathe!

A combination of illness, post holiday blues and not being able to run, got very depressed, but coming right. Back to running 3 times a week and got up to 8 km yesterday. Have really missed “here”
