Running art -- ahem

After last weeks 10k with a "hello" on the beach, today I mapped out a dog (left hand side). Well it's some sort of caveman like representation of an animal of some sort.

I should have made the tail longer.

This did involved "running" the stairs from hell (walkway up past a church), I only actually managed to run up one set of them, the whole thing is pretty steep. My peak heart rate during the run, was doing those stairs !

I think that ends my running art escapades, unless I manage to spot something else that I could map out.

Happy running all !

That’s fab - love it - I want a go - did you map it in advance? How did you do it?

I clocked it from my 10k run on Friday (from the map that Garmin did), then just had a think about the bits I needed to run to map it out. Then had to try and remember it when actually out !! Keeps the brain busy though when out running, making sure I go where I thought I needed too !

It’s ace and as you say good distraction x

That's pretty good, and the short tail does complement the cartoonish vibe, IMO. I'm guessing there may not be too many viable course options on your island(?), so full marks for creativity!

Wow. I love it. Brilliant combination of running and art. Looks like a little bulldog. Very well done. My local parkrun looks like a referees whistle.

Fantastic effort once again and thank you for doing those stairs in the name of art. I must look at my maps and see if I’ve inadvertently drawn anything, other than a very thin snake😉
